LAPA DOS GAIVÕES
TERROIR: Acid soils, poor and fine texture. Mediterranean climate with influence of Serra de São Mamede to give rise to great thermal amplitudes and thus potential concentration of acidity and long maturations. Favored solar exhibition with most of the vine facing south, it was planted on a granite rocky hillside that creates a competition between the plants and a very own balance with very low yields of 3 tons / ha, concentrated grapes of great complexity, delicacy and minerality.

CASTLE: Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, Aragonez, Tinta Barroca and Syrah.
VINIFICATION: Grapes chilled to low temperature, pre-maceration and fermentation for eight days at 26º C.
TASTING NOTES: Color: Pomegranate color, dark and dense. Aroma: Intense, concentrated and complex aroma, with notes forais, red fruit, black pepper and coconut integrated with notes of barrel. Palate: In the test is very elegant, full of volume with notes of varied spice, vanilla, forest and chocolate truffles. Fine and long tannins with freshness and minerality.
